Year 6 visit to Safety Works

Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic morning learning how to keep safe in a variety of real-life situations.

Officers from Northumbria Police, Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue, the Metro and the NHS were on hand to help guide the pupils through a number of interactive tasks.

The children also practiced road safety, as well as discussing the effect of peer pressure on them when they are trying to make the correct choices.

It was a really interesting morning and sparked lots of debate among the pupils.
