Upper KS2 had a talk from Northumbria Police to highlight the dangers of people carrying knives in public.
Latest statistics show that 70% of people who receive treatment for knife injuries at hospital are hurt with their own knife.
Officers spoke about why some people say they need to carry a knife and how if they are arrested people can face up to 4 years in prison.
Pupils listened very carefully and asked some brilliant questions.
